Every pair begins with your choices and ends with something that required the full attention of our craftsmen over approximately 25 working days.
This is not a wait. It is a process. The same one that has produced fine handcrafted leather goods in the valleys of Europe for generations — adapted for a man who would rather configure his pair online at midnight than arrange a series of fittings across the season.
On our exotic skins.
We work with alligator — our best sellers — as well as ostrich and python. Each skin is chosen for the quality of the hide, the integrity of the texture, and the way it behaves under the hands of our craftsmen.
Exotic skins are sourced in limited quantities. When a particular skin runs out, it may not be available again until we replenish our stock. There is no fixed schedule for that — it depends on the quality of what becomes available.
If an exotic skin design is available in the configurator today, it is available now. That is the only guarantee we can honestly make.
What happens in 25 working days.
Your configuration is received
Every detail you chose in the configurator is reviewed by our craftsmen before a single cut is made. Your leather is sourced. Your last is selected.
The shoe is built
Upper, sole, welt, lining — each element constructed by hand in the traditional manner. The construction method that allows the shoe to be resoled decades from now.
The finish is applied
Patina, if chosen, is applied in layers — each one setting before the next. Polished to a standard that has to be approved before the shoe leaves the workshop.
Express shipping
Your pair is packaged and shipped directly to your door. No retail floor. No middleman. No markup between the maker and you.
